3 Performance Hacks to Draw Your Audience in

 June 7, 2018

I have a few hacks on how to draw your audience in from the stage during a speech.

The first is picking three aspects of your story.   What leads up to the story?

Second, introduce the conflict into your story.  Make it relatable.

The third point should be the teaching moment. What you personally learned from it and what others can learn from it.  Use the stage as a progression meter. Start from one side and as you move through the story you move across the stage.  It’s doesn’t need to be obvious or dramatic as the story progresses but a smooth flow.

As you start to go over the teaching moment come back to the center stage.  Lean in and move forward toward the audience. This gives you different aspects on stage and makes you appear more dynamic.  Allowing the people in the audience to relate and provide a structure for the storytelling. This is a common method in public speaking when you have a stage to play with.

Don’t move and talk.  Plant yourself and talk.  When you are ready for the next stage then move.  Don’t make it a tennis match where your audience is looking back and forth.

This is one of many great tips you can find out on my site AlwaysbeSellingSystem.com.  I love to hear from the community feel free to contact me or leave a comment on any of the videos.
