Out Of The Box Ideas to Deepen Relationships
How do you stay in contact with your prospects, ideal clients or those who’ve expressed interest in your business?
Think of some out-of-box ideas on how to stay in contact with those interested in your services. The next step is to hook them in and stay on their minds. You can send emails, stalk them on social media, make phone calls, send text messages, or whatever it is you want to do to stay in contact.
What really makes you stand out and shows you care about them is sending a card in the mail on a special event. Most people are used to getting Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and even Happy New Year cards. What if they’re sports fans? Are you going to send them a reminder that a NASCAR event is coming up? Here in Houston it’s rodeo season, so sending out a rodeo card to your clients or prospects to remind them of new things happening in the world shows that you’re interested in them and making them successful. Ultimately, if they buy your product or service, they’re going be even more successful.
You can easily Google different holidays that are out there and create a card that you can send out very easily to your prospect list! Did you know March 23rd was National Puppy Day? How about sending out a card with a cute puppy on it saying “Hey, I was thinking about you and I saw Fido here and thought you might like this picture of a puppy.” Crazy idea, but it is going to keep you on each and every one of your prospects or clients minds and they will start to think of you as the relationship person. In business, everyone wants to create a relationship with their vendors and their service providers, instead of being just a name and number. Be different. Be unique and you will be in business for a very, very long time.
If you have your dream 100 list, you will only have to send out 100 cards. The postage may cost you around $50 and maybe $50 in the actual cards. I have a system that I would love to introduce you to that makes that process so much easier.
